What do you do with those bananas when they are too ripe and they do not look so good to eat anymore? Please, do not throw them away! Make Banana Nut Bread instead!
That’s what I did today! And my goodness it turned out so yummy! The aroma that was left inside my house was so inebriating! It was so good my husband didn’t give me time to take a picture of the whole loaf… By the time I got my camera out he had already devoured a slice… 🙂
I used only wholesome ingredients in this bread, that are good for you! This bread is also gluten Free and it includes essential oils of Cinnamon and Wild Orange.

- 3/4 Stick of unsalted Butter
- 2 Egg
- 3 ripe Bananas (Smashed)
- 4 Tbsp Raw Honey
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 drop Cinnamon Essential Oil
- 2 drops Wild Orange Essential Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp Arrowroot flour
- 1 1/4 Cup Sprouted Brown Rice Flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
- 1/4 Cup Flax Flour
- 1/4 Coconut Flour
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 3/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
Start with the butter at room temperature then add all the wet ingredients. Mix well. You do not need a blender, I usually use a big fork. Add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the walnuts last. Grease a loaf pan (I use either butter or coconut oil). Sprinkle 1 tsp of coconut sugar on top and put in the oven.
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour
